About Us
The First Nations Employment Centre was established in 1993 as a joint project between the FHQ Tribal Council and Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC). One of the goals of the center is to assist in job creation among the rapidly growing First Nation urban population, while meeting the on-going employment needs of local organizations and businesses.
FNEC is the premier place for employers to find highly skilled and motivated First Nations people who are looking for employment. Our computerized database contains people skilled in areas such as: General Labour, Construction, Sales & Marketing, Secretarial, Receptionist, Administration, Education, and Accounting to name a few.
Our office is staffed by First Nations people who have walked in both cultures and are committed to bridging the gap between them while bringing employers together with potential employees.

Attitude
Attitude is the way you think. Your attitude is something that other people can actually see. They can hear it in your voice, see it in the way you move, and feel it when they are with you. Your attitude expresses itself in everything you do, all the time, wherever you are.
Attitude is Everything
Positive attitudes always invite positive results. Negative attitudes always invite negative results. Attitudes make a difference every hour, every day, in everything that you do for your entire life. What you get out of each thing you do will equal the attitude you have when you do it.
Anything that you do with a positive attitude will work for you. Anything that you do with a negative attitude will work against you. If you have a positive attitude you are looking for ways to solve problems that you can solve and are letting go of things over which you have no control.
You can develop a positive attitude by emphasizing the good, by being tough minded, and refusing defeat.
